Senior Resident Engineer
Description:
We are seeking experienced Senior Resident Engineers (Sr. RE). Sr. RE reports to and is responsible for supporting the Project Manager.
Responsibilities/Duties;
Sr. RE shall;
- Make decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have an important impact on extensive engineering activities.
- This position requires great interpersonal and leadership skills
- Initiate and maintain extensive contracts with key engineers and officials of other organizations and companies, requiring skill in persuasion and negotiation of critical issues.
- Review and provide responses to RFIs; review documents and submittals for conformance to project owner’s requirements; coordinate, follow-up, provide input, and implement solutions in their respective areas of responsibility during shop drawing/submittal review, construction testing, commissioning, final completion and closeout phases.
Qualification/Requirement:
- Bachelor or BS degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Technology
- At least 6-10 years of Resident Engineering experience
- Work experience with MTA, NYCDDC, DOT, NYCDEP, Port Authority of NY&NJ is a huge plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is a required
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification

Office Engineer
We are actively seeking Office Engineers for existing and upcoming NYC Department of Design and Construction.
Project Type: Roadway, Underground Utilities, Sidewalk
Office Engineer with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in public work projects. Experience with NYC DDC software- PIMS (Project Information Management System).
ASCE Grade III, or NICET Grade IV certification in Transportation or Underground Utilities Construction OR Baccalaureate degree in engineering from an accredited college AND 2 - 5 years of experience in public works projects. (highway/sewer/water).

Civil/Structural - Sr. Field Engineer (Transit/Rail/Bus)
Description: Field Engineer reports to and is responsible for supporting the Resident Engineer.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must have construction inspection experience with capability of handling large to medium projects of moderate complexity.
- BS/BA in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture
- A minimum of 3-8 years of experience with some technical training, or equivalent, in civil/structural engineering.
- Previous experience with MTA agencies or PANYNJ projects is a huge plus
- Experience with MS Office, constructware is a plus
- Field Engineer may oversee the work of lesser-experienced Representatives
Electrical/Communications - Sr. Field Engineer (Rail/Transit)
Description: Field Engineer reports to and is responsible for supporting the Resident Engineer.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Construction inspection experience of various communication systems (COE, PACIS, PSLAN etc.) electrical systems (AC and DC) and components including conduit installation, lighting, distribution panels, switchboards, power backup etc.
- Inspection experience with capability of handling large projects of moderate complexity and may oversee the work of lesser-experienced Representatives
- Work experience with MTA agencies (NYCT, MTACC, LIRR, MNR etc.) or transit/rail environment is a huge plus
- Requires a minimum of eight 3 - 8 years of experience with some technical training, or equivalent in electrical/communications engineering.
